The Educator Knowledge Exchange Program is created to inspire educators. I have been inspired to pursue collaboration as a professional based on my educational calling toward collective greatness.
As I have experienced such growth and positive energy during her tenure at Green Hills Academy in Rwanda, I want to continue to build on this by facilitating growth between educators across Africa and abroad.
Educators have so much to share, and I genuinely believe that we can all achieve uncommon results together– the most significant beneficiaries being our learners. This is a unique opportunity for our educators to get to know one another, share best practices, and grow as educators together.
In the spirit of teacher development, we are investing in this program to support curiosity and method-based discovery.
Our team educators are paired with other educators and shadow them over a few days to observe different teaching methods, educational strategies, curriculum deployments, and learner engagements.
This invaluable interaction will allow both groups of educators to network with colleagues from other areas, share their unique experiences, learn from fellow educators, review and reflect on our teaching methods, and further develop our skills as well-rounded and effective educators.
After learning from educators, we invite and facilitate the other team to visit their partner school campus. They benefit from a similar experience as they learn from our educators and grow in the process.
As the program evolves, it can take place locally or internationally and is open to all educators’ categories (Homeroom, Specialists, Teaching Assistants, Support teachers, etc.).
